What GEO is

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is the work of getting AI assistants to name your business or cite your pages when they answer. SEO is about ranking in a list of links; GEO is about being in the answer.

English and Korean answers cite different sources

On August 24, 2026 we asked three local-business questions — "LA 한인타운 치과 추천해줘," "best Korean dentist in Koreatown LA," and "뉴저지 포트리 한인 회계사" — across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity from a US location, and sorted all 108 cited sources.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do Korean-American directory listings help with AI search?
In Korean answers, yes: Gemini and Perplexity cited Korean-American media and directories for about two-thirds of their sources. In English answers they were cited zero times in our August 2026 measurement. Listings complement your own website; they don't replace it.
Why publish content in both English and Korean?
AI engines answered Korean questions with Korean pages and English questions with English pages. In our data, the four business sites that had Korean content were cited only in Korean answers and never in English answers.
Which cities do you cover?
Anywhere in the US. Our field data so far comes from LA Koreatown and Fort Lee, New Jersey.
Do I need to give you access to my website?
No. Content publishes to blog.yourdomain.com with one DNS record. We never log into your website, Google, or social media accounts.
